
PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES



INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Skippy creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar , firmly packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 72 chocolate candies, unwrapped
DIRECTIONS
Heat oven to 350 degree F. In medium bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well.
In large bowl, beat together peanut butter and butter until smooth. Beat in granulated and brown sugars, eggs and vanilla until blended. Beat in flour mixture just until blended.
On ungreased baking sheets, drop dough by level tablespoons, 2 inches apart. Bake 13 minutes or until golden. Immediately press one chocolate candy firmly in the center of each cookie.
Remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely.
