FIG, GORGONZOLA AND PECAN SNACKS

INGREDIENTS
  • 12 Mariani shelled premium pecans
  • 1 teaspoon MacDonalds 100 pure maple syrup
  • 3 fresh figs stems cut off sliced into 4 rounds each
  • 1 ounce Black River Gorgonzola cheese

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit. Toss pecans with syrup, place on a baking sheet one inch apart. Cook eight to ten minutes, until fragrant. Remove, separate and let cool.

Lay the fig rounds on a plate. Place a pecan in the center of each fig slice, pinch little bits of cheese off of the wedge and press onto the pecans.
