
MEXICAN HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups Horizon Organic nonfat milk
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 teaspoons Scharffen Berger unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 ounce Scharffen Berger 70 cacao bittersweet chocolate coarsely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Hain Organic sugar or to taste
DIRECTIONS
Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly to melt the chocolate.
When chocolate is melted, carefully remove the cinnamon sticks. Use a hand mixer, a blender, or a whisk to beat the hot chocolate until it is frothy. Serve immediately.
