
PIZZA SOUP



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 pound Italian pork sausage, casings removed if present
- 1 pkg (8 oz each) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cans (8 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce with Basil, Garlic and Oregano
- 1-1/2 cups frozen cheese tortellini
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
Heat large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper and onion; cook 7 minutes or until sausage is crumbled and no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Drain.
Add tomato sauce, tortellini and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until tortellini and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Top each serving evenly with cheese.
