PEANUT BUTTER CARAMEL APPLES

INGREDIENTS
- PAMĀ® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 8 wooden craft sticks
- 8 8 apples = about 3 pounds medium Granny Smith apples, stems removed
- 2 cups tiny pretzel twists, crushed into crumbs
- 35 caramels, unwrapped
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons Peter PanĀ® Creamy Peanut Butter
DIRECTIONS
Spray baking sheet with cooking spray; set aside. Insert a craft stick into stem end of each apple. Place pretzel crumbs in shallow dish.
Combine caramels and water in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 minutes or until caramels melt and mixture blends when stirred, stirring after each minute. Stir in peanut butter.
Dip each apple, 3/4 the way up, into hot caramel mixture. Swirl apple to let excess caramel run off. Roll in crushed pretzels. Place on baking sheet; refrigerate until served.
