PARMESAN CHEESE GRITS

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tablespoons Parkay® Original Spread-tub
  • 2 tablespoons grated yellow onion
  • 3-1/4 cups water
  • 3/4 5-minute cup quick
  • 3/4 cup Culinary Circle Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Melt Parkay in medium saucepan over medium-high heat; add onion and cook 1 to 2 minutes or until fragrant. Add water; bring to a boil.

Stir in grits. Reduce heat to low; simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Add cheese, salt and pepper; stir to combine. Serve immediately.
