OPEN-FACED TURKEY SANDWICH

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 medium slices rustic country-style bread
  • 1/4 cup leftover mashed potatoes, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce, at room temperature
  • 1/2 pound thick sliced cooked turkey breast, warmed
  • 1/4 cup turkey gravy, warmed
  • Dash ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Spread butter on bread; toast until golden brown. Spread mashed potatoes on toast; top with cranberry sauce and turkey. Drizzle with gravy and sprinkle with pepper.
