
MUSTARD GLAZED ROASTED CHICKEN



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup Gulden's® Spicy Brown Mustard
- 1/2 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 pounds roaster chicken
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F. Place mustard, orange concentrate, honey and garlic in small bowl; whisk together until well blended. Divide glaze in half; reserve half for serving with roasted chicken.
Remove giblets and neck from chicken. Rinse chicken; pat dry with paper towels. Season skin and cavity with salt and pepper. Place in shallow roasting pan breast side up. Bake for 1-/1/4 to 1-1/2 hours.
REDUCE oven temperature to 325°F; brush chicken with glaze. Loosely tent chicken with foil; bake an additional 45-60 minutes brushing chicken every 15 minutes with glaze or until an internal temperature of 180°F is reached in thickest part of thigh.
Allow chicken to rest 15 minutes before carving. Discard glaze used to baste chicken. Heat reserved glaze to serve on the side.
