Total Time : 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Serves : 10

INGREDIENTS
  • PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 bag (82.3 g each) Orville Redenbacher's® Gourmet® Butter Microwave Popcorn
  • 1 cup unsalted cashews, macadamia nuts or pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1-1/2 cups maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

Line large shallow baking pan with aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray. Prepare popcorn according to package directions. Remove all unpopped kernels.

Place popped corn, nuts and cranberries in large bowl; toss together.

Combine butter, maple syrup and salt in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Boil 18 to 20 minutes, without stirring, until mixture reaches 300°F on a candy thermometer.

Pour syrup mixture over popcorn mixture and stir briskly with wooden spoon sprayed with cooking spray. Immediately spread popcorn mixture in pan. Cool completely. Break into bite-size pieces. Store in tightly sealed container.
