
HUNT'S® BEEF AND BARLEY STEW



INGREDIENTS
- PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 3-1/2 cups lower sodium beef broth
- 1 can (14.5 oz each) Hunt's® Diced Tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (6 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Paste
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 pound cubed beef stew meat
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 3/4 cup quick cook barley, uncooked
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
DIRECTIONS
Spray inside of 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Combine broth, undrained tomatoes, tomato paste and onion salt in slow cooker. Add stew meat, carrots and celery to slow cooker.
Cover; cook on LOW 7 hours or HIGH 3-1/2 hours. Stir in barley and sugar; cover and cook on HIGH 30 minutes more or until barley is tender.
