
DELUXE FRENCH TOAST



INGREDIENTS
- 10 tablespoons Blue Bonnet® Spread- tub, divided
- 1/4 cup strawberry preserves
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 1% cup lowfat
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 slices (3/4-inch thick) French bread
DIRECTIONS
Place 6 tablespoons Blue Bonnet in medium bowl; beat with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Gradually add strawberry preserves, beating until well blended after each addition. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Beat eggs, milk, orange juice, and cinnamon in shallow bowl with wire whisk until well blended.
Melt 2 tablespoons of Blue Bonnet in large skillet over medium heat. Dip 4 slices of the bread in egg mixture, turning to evenly coat both sides of each bread slice. Place bread in skillet and fry until golden brown on both sides, turning once. Repeat with the remaining Blue Bonnet, bread and egg mixture. Serve topped with strawberry spread.
