
CREAMY SAUSAGE AND BROCCOLI RIGATONI



INGREDIENTS
- 8 ounces dry rigatoni pasta, uncooked
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- or try pam® organic olive oil PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1 pound hot Italian turkey sausage links, casings removed
- 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
- 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 or try hunt's® organic can (15 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 whipping cup heavy
DIRECTIONS
Cook pasta according to package directions; add broccoli last 4 minutes of cook time. Drain.
Meanwhile, spray large skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add sausage, onion and pepper; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until sausage is crumbled and no longer pink, stirring frequently.
Stir in tomato sauce and heavy cream. Bring just to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add pasta and broccoli to sauce mixture; toss to coat.
