
GRILLED TERIYAKI HALIBUT



INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup teriyaki marinade & sauce
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon fresh gingerroot
- 1 tablespoon minced green onion
- 2 teaspoon sesame seeds toasted
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- 1 pound halibut fillets
DIRECTIONS
In small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except halibut; set aside. Place halibut in a shallow baking dish. Pour marinade over halibut; cover dish and place in the refrigerator 1 hour, turning halibut occasionally.
Prepare grill to medium-high heat. Remove halibut from marinade; reserve marinade. Grill halibut, turning once, 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Meanwhile, pour reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Serve with grilled halibut.
