
PARMESAN ENCRUSTED STEAK
with Puttanesca Sauce



INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup crispy Panko style plain bread crumbs
- 1 cup Culinary Circle Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cube steaks
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cups puttanesca sauce warmed
DIRECTIONS
In shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, cheese and Italian seasoning; salt and pepper to taste. Place flour in a second shallow dish and egg in a third shallow dish.
Salt and pepper steaks to taste. Dredge steaks in flour, then in egg and finally coat with bread crumb mixture.
In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add steaks to pan; pan-fry until golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes) and internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Serve steaks with warmed puttanesca sauce.
