GRILLED CHUCK STEAKS

Total Time : 30 minutes + marinating
Serves : 4 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons minced shallots
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 1 pound boneless chuck steaks

DIRECTIONS

In small bowl, combine oil, vinegar, shallots, thyme and garlic; salt and pepper to taste. Place steaks and marinade in a 1-gallon recloseable food storage bag; seal. Toss to coat.

Refrigerate a minimum of 6 hours or up to 24 hours, tossing occasionally.

Prepare grill to medium heat. Remove steaks from marinade; discard bag.

Place steaks on grill; grill, turning once, 14-19 minutes (depending on thickness) or until desired doneness is reached (145°F for medium-rare; 160°F for medium).
