ITALIAN STYLE MEATLOAF

Serves : 6 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 1/2 cups tomato, garlic & onion pasta sauce divided
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1 cup crispy Panko style plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Culinary Circle Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning

DIRECTIONS

In large bowl, combine ground beef, 1½ cups pasta sauce, 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, Parmesan, onion, eggs, garlic and Italian seasoning; mix until just combined. Press into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Cover loosely with foil.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 50-60 or until internal temperature reaches 160°F on an instant read food thermometer.

Remove foil spread remaining pasta sauce and cheese over top of meatloaf. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
