
PEARS WRAPPED IN PASTRY



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 15 ounce package refrigerated pie crust (1 crust)
- 1 29 ounce can pear halves in heavy syrup drained
- 1/4 cup original syrup
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon divided
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- - honey
- - ice cream
DIRECTIONS
Cut pie crust into ½-inch wide strips (about 9-10 strips). In medium bowl combine pears, maple syrup and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Wrap each pear in a strip of pie crust; place in a greased 9x9-inch baking dish. Combine sugar and remaining cinnamon; sprinkle over pears.
Bake in a preheated 450°F oven 12-14 minutes or until pie crust is golden brown. Drizzle with honey. Serve with ice cream.
