
PEACHES IN PASTRY



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 17.3 ounce package frozen puff pastry sheets thawed
- 3 fresh yellow peaches peeled & sliced
- 2/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon butter melted
- 1 tablespoon raw cane sugar
DIRECTIONS
Roll pastry out thin enough to cover a pie plate; trim corners to create a circle. Place in a greased pie plate. Set aside.
In large bowl, combine peaches, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Toss until well combined.
Place peaches in center of puff pastry. Fold pastry halfway over peaches, making pleats to create a circle shape, leaving about a 3-inch opening in center.
Brush pastry with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven 30 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Serve warm.
