PEACH BREAD PUDDING

with Pecan Streusel

Serves : 8 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 29 ounce can yellow cling peach halves in heavy syrup drained and chopped
  • 6 cups cubed French bread
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup pecan pieces
  • 1/4 cup butter softened

DIRECTIONS

In large bowl, combine milks, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon; add peaches and bread. Transfer to a greased baking dish; let stand 10 minutes.

Combine sugar, pecans and butter; sprinkle over top of bread.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
