
MAPLE APPLE TURKEY SAUSAGE PATTIES



INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon organic butter
- 1 cup peeled and shredded Granny Smith apples
- 1 teaspoon organic ground Saigon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons organic 100% pure maple syrup
- 1 pound 90% lean ground turkey
- 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 3/4 teaspoon organic ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon organic dried rubbed sage
- 1/4 teaspoon organic ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon organic ground cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS
1. In medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add apples and cinnamon; sauté until softened (about 4-5 minutes). Stir in syrup; continue cooking 1 minute. Remove from heat; cool.
In large bowl, combine cooled apples, turkey and remaining spices; mix until well combined. Form into 8 patties.
Place patties in large skillet over medium heat; cook until browned and cooked through, turning occasionally (about 12-14 minutes).
