
ITALIAN CHEESE BREAD



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup warm water [115-120°F]
- 1 0.25 ounce packet active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour divided
- 3 tablespoons 100% pure olive oil divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup Italian style six cheese blend
DIRECTIONS
In large mixing bowl, combine water and yeast; let stand 5 minutes. Stir in 1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon oil, salt and sugar. When dough comes together, turn out onto a floured work surface.
Knead, adding additional ½ cup flour as needed, until smooth and elastic. Transfer to a lightly oiled bowl; turn dough to coat with oil. Cover and let rise 20 minutes.
Punch dough down; cover and refrigerate 2 hours. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes before shaping. Shape dough onto a 12-inch pizza pan.
Combine remaining oil, garlic and Italian seasoning; brush over dough. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated 450°F oven 10-12 minutes or until desired doneness is reached.
