FAST & FABULOUS FOCACCIA BREAD

INGREDIENTS
  • - cooking spray
  • 1 tablespoon yellow cornmeal optional
  • - all-purpose flour
  • 1 loaf frozen white bread dough thawed
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1-2 tablespoons Culinary Circle Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Italian style six cheese blend

DIRECTIONS

Generously spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray. Sprinkle with corn meal, if desired. Set aside.

Lightly flour clean surface. Roll out thawed dough to a 10-inch circle, about ½-inch thick. Place on baking sheet.

Sprinkle with garlic; press garlic into dough. Brush dough with olive oil. Sprinkle with cheese, pressing cheese into dough.

Firmly press index finger into surface of dough making dents every 2 inches. Cover loosely with plastic wrap; let rise for 1 hour.

Remove plastic wrap and bake in a preheated 400°F oven 20-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven; cool slightly. Serve with additional olive oil for dipping, if desired.
