BANANA BREAD

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 2 1/3 cups mashed ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside.

In another large mixing bowl, combine sugar and butter; using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat until creamed.

Mix in bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Transfer to a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool completely on cooling rack.
