
GRILLED HONEY BBQ CHICKEN WINGS



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup pure vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper divided
- 3 pounds chicken wings
- 1 18 ounce bottle sweet 'n tangy honey barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
DIRECTIONS
In a 1-gallon recloseable food storage bag, combine oil, lemon juice, garlic and 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Add chicken wings and seal bag; toss to coat. Place bag in a shallow dish and refrigerate several hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
Prepare grill to medium heat. Remove chicken wings from marinade; discard marinade. Place on grill; grill 15-20 minutes or until done, turning several times.
Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine barbecue sauce, honey and remaining ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper. Pour ½ the sauce into a serving dish; set aside. Brush chicken wings with remaining sauce the last 5 minutes of grilling.
