DARK CHOCOLATE ALMOND GRANOLA

Serves : 8 cups

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 tablespoon baking cocoa
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 1/2 cups honey cinnamon almonds
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans

DIRECTIONS

In large mixing bowl, combine oats and baking cocoa; set aside. In medium mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, apple sauce and coconut milk.

Add apple sauce mixture, almonds, chocolate chips, cranberries and pecans to oat mixture; stir until well combined. Transfer to two large baking sheets that have been sprayed with cooking spray; spread into a single layer.

Bake in a preheated 325°F oven 30 minutes; stir and continue baking 15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.

Remove from oven and transfer to a cooling rack; cool completely. Break up as desired; store, refrigerated, in an airtight container.
