PEPPERED STEAK STROGANOFF

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 4 ounce package stroganoff pasta side dish
  • 1/2 pound cube steak thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon 100% pure olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry or beef broth

DIRECTIONS

Prepare pasta according to package directions.

Meanwhile, rub sliced steak with pepper and season with salt to taste. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add steak; sauté 5 minutes or until cooked through.

Add sherry or beef broth; cook 1 minute. Stir into prepared pasta; let stand 2 minutes to thicken.
