FRIED JALAPEÑOS

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup beer
- 4 cups pure corn oil
- 1 12 ounce jar sliced jalapenos drained
- 1 15 ounce jar salsa con queso warmed
DIRECTIONS
In shallow bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Mix in beer; let stand 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat oil in deep fryer or large saucepan to 375°F.
In batches, coat jalapeño slices with batter and carefully place in hot oil. Fry until slices float and are golden brown (about 2-3 minutes).
Remove from oil and drain on clean paper towels; keep warm. Continue with remaining batches, allowing oil to reheat between batches, if necessary.
Serve fried jalapeños with warmed con queso.
