CRUNCHY DILL PICKLE PRETZEL DOGS

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup crushed dill pickle flavored potato chips
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 quarter pound beef franks
  • 4 pretzel hot dog buns or hot dog buns
  • Condiments:
  • - sweet pickle relish
  • - yellow mustard
  • - tomato ketchup
  • - sauerkraut
  • - diced onions, chopped tomatoes

DIRECTIONS

Place crushed potato chips in a food processor or blender; process until finely ground. Transfer to a shallow dish.

Pat franks dry with clean paper towels. Brush with mustard then roll in potato chips. Place on a greased baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated 400°F oven 12-15 minutes, turning halfway, or until heated through and outsides are crunchy.

Place in buns and top with desired condiments.
