JALAPEÑO POPPER BURGERS

with Chipotle Mayo

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 pounds 85% lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons chopped jalapeño peppers
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/3 cup real mayonnaise
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce chopped
  • 1 teaspoon adobo sauce
  • 4 deli style pepper jack cheese slices
  • 4 hamburger buns toasted
  • - bacon wrapped jalapeno popper flavored kettle chips

DIRECTIONS

In medium bowl, combine beef, jalapeños and seasoned salt; salt and pepper to taste. Mix until just combined. Form into 4 patties; set aside.

In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, chipotle peppers and adobo sauce; set aside.

Prepare grill to medium heat. Place burgers on grill. Grill, turning once, about 7-14 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F on an instant read thermometer. Top with cheese; allow to melt (about 1 minute).

Spread toasted buns with chipotle mayo. Top with burgers and kettle chips.
