
MOOSE CRUNCH



INGREDIENTS
- 1 8.5 ounce container whole cashews
- 1 6 ounce package cheese flavored popcorn
- 4 cups mini pretzels
- 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Combine cashews, popcorn and pretzels in a large roasting pan. Set aside.
In large saucepan, combine sugar, butter, water and salt over medium heat. Stir occasionally until melted and bubbly around edges. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn mixture; stir until well coated (mixture will be lightly coated only).
Bake in a preheated 300°F oven for 15 minutes, stirring half way through.
Remove from oven. Let cool slightly; break apart and stir in chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container.
