
GLAZED CARROTS



INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons organic butter
- 1 16 ounce bag organic baby-cut peeled carrots sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup organic 100% pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon organic ground Saigon cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add carrot slices; sauté 4-5 minutes.
Add orange juice, maple syrup, orange zest and cinnamon. Salt to taste.
Simmer until carrots are tender-crisp and sauce becomes a shiny glaze (about 20 minutes).
