GORGONZOLA & PEAR COMPOTE

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 pears peeled, seeded and diced (about 2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup Culinary Circle Balsamic Vinegar Of Modena
  • 2 4 ounce containers Culinary Circle Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese softened
  • 32 Culinary Circle Wheat Entertainment Crackers

DIRECTIONS

In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add pears and saut� 3-5 minutes or until softened.

Add in vinegar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely.

Spread gorgonzola cheese on crackers and top with pear compote. Place crackers on a platter that has been drizzled with the vinegar.

Garnish cracker with chives, if desired.
