
LEMON DIJON GREEN BEANS



INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon 100% pure olive oil
- 1 16 ounce package frozen whole green beans thawed
- 1/4 cup slivered blanched almonds
DIRECTIONS
In small bowl, combine lemon juice, Dijon mustard and honey; whisk until well combined. Salt and pepper to taste; set aside.
In medium skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add green beans and sauté until heated through (about 5 minutes).
Add lemon Dijon mixture and almonds to green beans. Sauté until sauce has reduced and thickened slightly (about 1-2 minutes).
