DROP CHEDDAR BISCUITS

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter divided
- 1 cup fancy shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder divided
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup instant nonfat dry milk
- 3 large eggs
DIRECTIONS
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add 6 tablespoons cold butter; using a pastry blender or fork, cut butter into flour mixture until butter is pea size.
Add cheese, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder and black pepper. Whisk water, dry milk and eggs together; add to biscuit mix. Mix by hand, until just combined. Do not over mix. Drop by large spoonfuls (about ¼ cup) onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 400°F oven 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Meanwhile, melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter; add remaining ¼ teaspoon garlic powder. Remove biscuits from oven and brush tops with garlic butter.
