
PIZZA PASTA BAKE



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 16 ounce package mostaccioli
- 1 teaspoon 100% pure olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 2 links heat & serve mild Italian sausage thawed, sliced
- 1/2 cup diced pepperoni (from stick)
- 2 14 ounce jars homemade style pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, in large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, pepper and garlic; sauté until peppers are softened (about 3-5 minutes). Stir in sausage and pepperoni; sauté until heated through (about 2 minutes). Toss with pasta, sauce and 1 cup cheese.
Transfer to a greased 2-quart baking dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake in preheated 375°F oven 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
