
CRANBERRY-APPLE CHUTNEY



INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon 100% pure olive oil
- 2 large Granny Smith apples peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup minced red onion
- 1 14 ounce can whole cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic cloves
DIRECTIONS
In medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add apples and onions; salt and pepper to taste.
Sauté until onions are slightly browned (about 5-7 minutes). Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 15-20 minutes or until apples are softened, stirring occasionally.
