PURPLE HULL PEAS

with Ham & Tomatoes

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 16 ounce package frozen purple hull peas thawed
  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • 1 cup frozen super sweet corn
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onion
  • 1 14.5 ounce can fire roasted diced tomatoes with garlic undrained
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • - Louisiana hot sauce

DIRECTIONS

Prepare peas according to package directions.

In large skillet over medium heat, combine all ingredients; adding hot sauce as desired.

Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally (about 10-12 minutes).
