CREAMY TURNIP GREENS PASTA

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 12 ounce package fettuccine
  • 4 links smoked Andouille sausage sliced
  • 1 7 ounce jar roasted red peppers drained and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 15 ounce jar creamy Alfredo pasta sauce
  • 1 cup frozen chopped turnip greens with diced turnips thawed and drained
  • - fancy shredded Italian style Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.

Meanwhile, in large skillet over medium-high heat, add sausage, peppers and garlic; salt and pepper to taste. Sauté until sausage is browned and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes).

Reduce heat to medium-low; add Alfredo and greens. Cook until heated through. Toss with pasta; salt and pepper to taste. Serve with cheese, if desired.
