
GRILLED STEAK
with Mushrooms & Onions



INGREDIENTS
- 1 (18x24-inch) sheet heavy duty aluminum foil
- 1 medium yellow onion cut in half, thinly sliced
- 1 8 ounce package sliced baby bella mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons butter cubed
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 2 garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 4 premium angus porterhouse or t-bone steaks
DIRECTIONS
Prepare grill to medium heat. Place onions, mushrooms, butter, thyme and garlic in center of aluminum foil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Bring sides of foil together and fold; fold ends to create a foil packet. Place packet on grill. Grill, turning occasionally, 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, season steaks with pepper to taste. Place steaks on grill. Grill turning once, 10-20 minutes (depending on thickness) or until desired doneness is reached (145°F for medium-rare; 160°F for medium). Remove from grill; season with salt to taste.
Carefully open packet and serve onions and mushrooms with steaks.
