FRESH HERB CANAPÉS

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 teaspoon organic extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped organic fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped organic fresh baby dill
  • 1 tablespoon chopped organic fresh thyme
  • 1 loaf French baguette bread sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • - sprigs of herbs for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Slice off top ¼ of garlic bulb. Place in center of a piece of foil. Drizzle with olive oil. Fold foil around garlic to seal. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 1 hour; cool. Squeeze bulb to release roasted garlic.

Combine cream cheese, roasted garlic and herbs. Spread on baguette slices and top with sprigs of herbs.
