
GRILLED CHEESE, TOMATO & BACON SANDWICHES



INGREDIENTS
- 8 (3/4-inch thick) slices roasted garlic or rustic artisan bread
- 1/2 cup garden vegetable cream cheese spread
- 1 medium tomato thinly sliced
- 8 slices naturally hardwood smoked bacon cooked
- 1 cup fancy shredded Mexican style Cheddar jack cheese
- - butter softened
DIRECTIONS
Spread herb cheese on 4 slices of bread. Top with tomato slices, bacon and Cheddar jack cheese. Place remaining 4 slices bread over cheese.
Spread butter over top slices of bread. Carefully place sandwiches buttered-side-down on a flat skillet over medium-low heat. Spread butter over remaining slices of bread.
Grill until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes); carefully flip sandwiches over and continue grilling until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes).
